Ruben Merckx holds a master’s degree in law from Ghent University (2022). 

During his final year of study, Ruben completed an international exchange at the University of Miami, School of Law. 

He shows social engagement as a director in different non-profits and is involved in the political life of the city of Aalst. 

Ruben started at Industrious Law in May 2025, after working previously at a firm specialised in public law.
